The first training session of the Green Accelerator programme took place on Wednesday 1 November.
The module was implemented after the MeetUp meetings at the collaborative space of the Light Hub entrepreneurship support structure in Alexandroupolis. There, Dimitris Kokkinakis Sophia Lambrou founders of Impact Hub, presented the innovative “Green Accelerator” program of Evros Chamber (Light Hub), in collaboration with Impact Hub Athens and Google Foundation, which aims to support local businesses to operate with sustainable practices.
The 1st module of the Green Accelerator program was held with Dimitris Skourogiannis ( Designer with international distinctions) and covered the topics : introduction to sustainable entrepreneurship – It’s a Culture Environment, resources, raw materials, circular economy, green model (Case Studies) and New Materials & Practices Trends and practices in the use of new materials. The Social Innovation in the Greek Region programme aims to create a community of social business incubators working for environmental sustainability. Participating organisations from all over Greece will conduct business empowerment programmes in the regions of North/South Pindos, Zagorochoria-Ioannina, Rethymno, Karditsa, Florina, Alexandroupolis, Cyclades, Kalamata, and the wider region of Messinia.
